1. What is GoEats ?
GoEats is the newest food delivery platform in Sri Lanka that makes ordering delicious food online a walk in the park. Order in minutes on our app – then sit back, relax and let us bring the food to you.

3. Can I place an order over the phone ?
No, silly! We’re an online food ordering restaurant !
4. How do I order ?
Once you are in the app you’ll see a list of lunch and snacks option delivering to you, along with prices and your ratings. Click the one for anything you’re feeling on the menu and hit “Add to Cart”. Choose the quantity. Place the order and we’ll notify our chef to begin prepping your food. Done.
5. When should I place the order ?
Depending on the type of meal, we have time constraints to place orders; Lunch orders needs to be placed on or before 10.30am. Large quantity of party snacks needs to be ordered before or on 3 days from the delivery date in advance. If you didn’t have 3 days to let us know, don’t worry, we will check the availability of the items you need and call you to customize the order. All your orders are special and it will be treated with utmost priority.
6. Does the choice for curry differ every day ?
Yes. You can choose the protein with your food, and we will cook exciting healthy curries to enhance your meals every day.
7. What happens after I submit an order ?
We send your order to our chef as soon as you hit the button. The app tells you they’re working on the order and your food will be delivered on or before the delivery time.
8. How do I pay ?
You can pay for your delicious food at the time of delivery
9. How do I know when my food is here ?
Your delivery partner will generally bring your order right to your delivery address and contact you through the number you have registered with GoEats.
10. So, how much will it cost for me to use GoEats ?
GoEats is free to use. You only have to pay for the food and we deliver for free.
11. Is there a minimum amount I have to spend to order ?
In some cases, yes. GoEats require a minimum order amount of LKR 3000 for snacks and you will only be able to order a maximum of 3 portions of lunch quantity per day.
12. Where did the ratings come from ?
They’re from you. You can place the rating after you place the order and we will show you the ratings the next time you want to order.
13. Can I add to my order after it’s been placed ?
Not at this time but this feature is in the works! If you want to add to your order you'll need to place another order with the additional items.
14. Delivery is too dang long ?
Your food will be delivered depending the time you place your order and who is delivering the food. Your lunch will be delivered on or before 1.00pm and snacks you ordered will reach on the time you requested. However if you still feel like your order has taken longer than expected you can send us an email at info@goeats.lk
15. Can I cancel an order ?
Maybe. Depends on if we have already made your food. Remember, we move quicker than others. Our restaurant may already have your food prepared. If you’d like to cancel the order please do so before your deliver status change to “on route” which is ideally before 11.00am before a GoEats driver leaves with your food to deliver.
16. What happens if I was not around when the food was delivered ?
Your order will be taken back to the restaurant after trying to contact you, and if you weren’t around. However the next time you order with GoEats, you will be billed 50% from the previous order that didn’t reach you.
17. I really need to speak to a human about my food-related woes. Can I do this ?
